Dr. Dagmara Moskwa from the Institute of Political Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences will delve into examples of propaganda from the Second World War. She will explore how these historical narratives continue to be manipulated today, particularly by Russia, to influence public opinion and shape collective memory.

Dagmara Moskwa, PhD

PhD in Human Sciences, assistant professor at the Institute of Political Studies with the Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw) and a lecturer in Collegium da Vinci (Poznan). Graduate of the Faculty of History and the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan). Author of the book ‘Motherland Calls! The Great Patriotic War in Education and Historical Policy of Putin’s Russia’.
Research interests: memory studies, Polish memory studies traditions, and contemporary Russian politics of history.
