As the 80th anniversary of the German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp Auschwitz's liberation approaches, this webinar will highlight the importance of preserving historical truth. It will also provide practical tools for educators, including lesson plans, graphics, and testimonies, to address Holocaust denial and distortion in an age of increasing disinformation.

The discussion will focus on strategies to confront the challenges posed by historical denialism. Our guest speaker, Marlene Wöckinger—a historian at the Mauthausen Memorial and an expert in Holocaust education—will share her insights. She collaborates with erinnern.at, TikTok Germany, and EuroClio on innovative educational projects.

This webinar is part of the ‘Hi-story Lessons – Methods and Resources for History Teaching series’, which includes various webinars and workshops.
