The Paris Peace Conference and its consequences
At the end of the war, in order to get its new borders recognised, Romania led intense diplomatic activity during the Paris Pace Conference, which was aimed at building a new political and territorial order in Europe and in the world and prevent new international conflict. After several negotiations the new borders were included in the peace treaties of Saint-Germain (10 September 1919) with Austria, of Neuilly-sur-Seine (27 November 1919) with Bulgaria, of Trianon (4 June 1920) with Hungary, and of Paris (28 October 1920) with the great powers.
