‘Sound in the Silence’ final performance that took place at the Denkort Bunker Valentin Memorial in Bremen, October 2019.
‘Sound in the Silence’ is an international interdisciplinary educational project delivered by the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity. It is aimed at secondary school students. Accompanied by artists and educators, an international group of young people visits places of remembrance where, through the exploration of space, they examine selected themes related to the history of totalitarianism in Central and Eastern Europe, and then take part in several days of bespoke artistic workshops. The project ends with a theatrical performance prepared by the participants.
